The principality of Liechtenstein is located on the upper Rhine, between the Swiss canton St. Gallen and the Austrian federal state of Vorarlberg. As the fourth smallest state in Europe (after the Vatican, Monaco and San Marino) - approx. 35,000 inhabitants live on 160 square kilometres – it has become one of the most attractive business locations in Europe, which is in particular thanks to the considerable political and economic stability in the country, the high level of education of the population and its liberal economic policies.
